I recently moved to a house that has the following refrigerator that has a water filter indicator calorie-free that has just turned scarlet indicating that I demand to replace the filter.

Kenmore Coldspot - Manufacture appointment March / 1999
Model# 106.58285892
Serial# SJ1230261.

Could you please identify the part that I need to replace and besides how would I go most replacing the water filter ?

Hi Jake - Cheers for your prompt answer

My questions are

- Can I just pull it off or exercise I have to plow the knob left or right ?
- Do I need to turn off the water supply prior to taking off the old filter and replacing it with the new 1 ?
- How much is the part (including shipping) from you guys ? and how soon can it transport ?

No, you don't need to turn the h2o supply line off.

I need to supervene upon the water filter in the fridge part.
